Welcome to Naše Divadlo Calgary!
We are a registered not-for-profit theatre celebrating Czech and Slovak culture in the heart of Calgary, Alberta.
More than a stage, Naše Divadlo is a creative home where stories come alive — full of humour, heart, and heritage.
Our work goes beyond traditional theatre. Rooted in the rich traditions of Czech and Slovak performing arts — with Czech amateur theatre recently recognized by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage — we bring semi-professional productions to life while also hosting lively community events, workshops, and celebrations. Our live band, Sem Tam (Here and There), adds music and energy to our events, performing everything from classic favourites to modern hits.
Our mission is simple: to bring people together, amplify Czech and Slovak voices, and create a vibrant, inclusive space for the performing arts — one unforgettable story at a time.
